Hello, and welcome to my shop! Here you´ll find Personalized Work Tote Bags and Handbags, Laptop Bags for Travel, Convertible Backpacks, Canvas Crossbody Bags and Cell Phone Purses. Practical and versatile, with a minimalist look and classic style. All made to last, with high quality materials and sturdy construction. Everything you find in my shop is handmade by me in my home studio, in the country side close to Madrid.
Almost everything in my shop can be personalized. You can choose colours of Canvas and Leather, different lengths for leather straps and adding extra pockets in case you need them. You can also add your initials or a personalized message engraved on leather to make really thoughtful gifts. Please feel free to contact me if you can´t find what you need!

THE MATERIALS:
WHAT IS WAXED CANVAS?
Wax Canvas is a 100% cotton canvas which has been waxed to make it waterproof. The one I use is a midweight canvas, softer and lighter than heavy duty Wax Canvas. This material ages nicely getting a unique personality with time.
WHAT IS VEGETABLE TANNED LEATHER?
This is genuine leather. The term “vegetable” refers to the tanning procedure, which is based on vegetable tannins. Is much more friendly with the environment than the tanning procedure used for other kinds of leather. It can show some little imperfections here or there showing the history of the material, and the lighter colours will gradually darken with some time and use.
- WHAT IS CORDURA FABRIC?
This is the material I use on the inside of the bags, because it´s waterproof and can be cleaned with a wet cloth. With great quality, lasts for years in good conditions.
HOW CAN I CLEAN MY BAG?
Waxed canvas and leather can´t be washed with detergents or soap. Please remove the dust with a gentle brush, and kindly apply a dump cloth if there´s a punctual stain. Please keep in mind that Wax Canvas is fabric, so it can be tanned being in contact with dark jeans or denim, for example. Please don´t wash your bag, and avoid dry clean too. The Cordura fabric inside the bag, can be cleaned with a damp cloth too.

5 out of 5 starsThis is my 3rd handbag from Maria - she is that good! I bought this to be able to carry my MacBook, & the computer fits like a glove in the inside pocket! The waxed canvas is beautiful, & the leather straps are high quality. She was kind enough to allow for personalization on the zipper pull, a beautiful touch that makes this handbag even more special. The interior pockets are well-constructed, & she even includes a leather strap to attach your keys to so they don't get lost in the shuffle of the bag (one of my favorite features of all of her handbags that I have). In spite of living on another continent, the handbag was made & delivered to my home really quickly. If you are on the fence about making a purchase from Maria, know that you are in good hands!

The fabric is excellent quality as is the sewing, and Maria is very friendly and helpful and went out of her way to make the straps out of waxed canvas for me instead of leather as I prefer to avoid animal products. A wonderful experience and I am super happy and proud with my new bag - and getting compliments 🤩 Will definitely buy again from Maria, can't recommend her enough!

Frequently asked questions
What shipping method do you use?
Standard shipping: All orders are Shipped with tracking number through the Spanish Postal Company. Transit takes up to 10 days depending on your location.
These shipments are delivered under signature. In case there´s nobody available to receive the package they leave a note saying they´ll try again, or asking you to pick up the parcel at the Post Office.
Express Shipping:
You can upgrade to faster shipping at check out, I´ll ship through DHL or Fedex depending on your location.
Transit time is:
USA and Canada 2-4 days
Europe 1-4 days
Other countries 2-5 days
Please keep in mind that delays may occur in Customs, or due to bad weather, Christmas, Black Friday, etc.
Custom fees and taxes must be assumed by the buyer.
My order is a gift. Can I add gift wrapping?
All orders ship nicely yet simply wrapped to avoid extra supplies and shipping costs. I´ll be happy to add your personal note or wishes to the one who´s receiving your gift, just send me a note while check out.
Can I ship directly to the one I´m gifting if my order is a gift?
Yes, you can! Please check and re-check the address while check out.
A phone number is always needed for shipping.
What kind of wrapping and shipping materials do you use?
Paper, box and cotton strings and envelopes can be recycled.
Gummed paper tape and mail bags are compostable.
Where can I find my tracking number?
You´ll always receive a message through Etsy once I ship your parcel, and there you´ll be able to track the package. And of course you can contact me if you need help to track your parcel.
How can I clean my bag?
Spot clean only. I recommend cleaning your bag by brushing softly to take off the dust it may have, and kindly use a sponge or cloth damped with cold water if there is any punctual stain. Please don´t use soap or detergents for Waxed Canvas, don´t dry clean either.
Can you work on custom orders?
Of course I can, and I´ll be happy to help! Please feel free to ask or contact me with any questions.
Do you accept returns?
Yes, I can accept returns. Please check my Shop Policies or contact me as soon as possible if you want to return your order. Items must be returned without being used and in similar conditions of wrapping to avoid damage and loss of value while coming back to me. I can´t accept returns for personalized items, for custom special orders and items on sale. Shipping costs back to me must be assumed for the buyer who returns the item. Please ship your items back with tracking number to avoid the parcel getting lost in the mail. I´ll give a refund once I receive the items back in my studio.
Why do you ask for a phone number for shipping?
Please please pleeease add a phone number to your order in order to help delivery. Of course I´ll only use it as I use your shipping address to ship your order and it won´t be used or stored for anything else than delivering your parcel. For Standard shipping is so really helpful, and for Express shipping is always necessary. I´ll need to contact you before shipping if you didn´t provide a phone number. You can leave it on the personalization box, or in a note to seller while check out. Thank you :)
